Policies and Pricing

CNY Gym Centre Policies & Procedures

SCHEDULE:

Academic Year Session: September 2024- June 2025
Summer Session: July 2025-August 2025
All students are automatically enrolled each month. You may withdraw and re-enroll at any time throughout the year. If you need to take a break for any reason, we will need written notice via email to info@cnygymcentre.com by the 20th of the current month to discontinue charges on your account for the following month (ex: September 20th for October). Without written notice, you will be responsible for the month's tuition.

REGISTRATION:

You may enroll at anytime during the month. Tuition will be pro-rated for that month if necessary. Class tuition must be paid in full prior to starting a session. Registration must be done online.
1. Completed registration form with signatures for Acknowledgement of Waiver and Release, Photo Permission and Acknowledgement of Policies and Procedures.
2. Registration/Insurance fee and full tuition payment to CNY Gym Centre.

MEMBERSHIP/INSURANCE FEE:

A non-refundable $50 annual membership/insurance fee per person or $100 per family for 3 or more students is due upon registration. Membership fees are renewed annually for all enrolled participants.

TUITION:

A valid credit or debit card is required to be on file for all registered participants (recreational & team).
Please note: we offer an automatic payment system in which you must select "AutoPay" upon registration or through your parent portal. We will charge the credit/debit card number we have on file for you in our secured system on the first day of each month. Tuition is paid every month on a continuous basis for the entire session.
Alternate Payment Methods - We also accept checks or cash. Please make checks out to "CNY Gym Centre." Payment must be received in the office by the first of each month. If payment is not received by the tenth (10th) of each month, we will charge the credit or debit card on file the full tuition. A $15.00 late fee will be applied to your account on the 11th of the month.

REFUND POLICY:

Tuition pays for your child's spot in class regardless of attendance. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, notify us in writing within 3 business days of your child’s first class, and we will fully refund your tuition fees (membership fees are non-refundable). Refunds are only given within three days of your child's first class. Refunds or Credits will not be given at any other time.

CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT POLICY:

All students are automatically enrolled each month until the session end. You may withdraw and re-enroll at any time throughout the year. Enrollment in the summer session is not automatic and requires you to re- enroll. Written notification via email to info@cnygymcentre.com to withdraw must be received by the 20th of the current month to withdraw for the following month (ie: received by January 20 to withdraw for February). If written notification is not received in the appropriate time frame you will be held financially responsible for the following month and withdrawal from the class will go into effect the month after.

ATTENDANCE POLICY:

If your child has not attended class (takes time off or has not been checked in) for 2 consecutive weeks, he/she will be removed from the class. If/when your child returns, you may need to find another class day/time. To ensure your child’s spot in class, please check in at the front desk at every class.

LATE FEES:

A $15 Late fee will be imposed on all payments received after the 10th of the month.

RETURNED CHECK FEE:

A $30 fee will be charged for each check returned for insufficient funds.

OBSERVATION:

Parents are welcome to observe classes at any and all times provided that they remain in the designated observation areas. For safety purposes parents are not permitted to stand or sit in the training area during their child’s class. Observers can be a distraction at times, and therefore present a safety concern. We thank you in advance for your understanding and your cooperation.

GYM ATTIRE:

Leotards are recommended for girls but are not required. If tights are worn we ask that they be footless to avoid slipping. Spandex shorts or leggings are okay to wear over leotards. Shorts and non-baggy T-shirts are recommended for boys. NO zippers, buttons or snaps are allowed on any clothing. Bare feet are also recommended because socks can cause a child to slip and fall. All jewelry must be removed prior to class and hair must be pulled back out of the child’s face.

MAKE UP POLICY:

An absence must be scheduled through your parent portal at least one hour before class time to be eligible for a makeup class. Makeups can be done in one of the regular classes if there is space available and you MUST schedule the makeup through your parent portal. Makeups must be taken while a child is enrolled and must be scheduled within 60 days of the absence. Failure to attend the makeup class will result in forfeiture of the makeup. Once a child is withdrawn from the program, all makeups are forfeited. Walk-ins are not allowed. Tuition will not be prorated for missed classes. (Makeups do not apply to team or pre-team.)

INCLEMENT WEATHER/HOLIDAY POLICY:

Inclement weather cancellations are NOT based on school closures. Notifications of gym closure due to weather will be announced on the local news stations, email notification, and our Social Media pages. There will be no refunds or makeups for classes missed due to inclement weather or holiday closings.

END OF THE YEAR PARENT SHOW:

In June, following the Academic Session, we host a parent show for all gymnasts enrolled in our program. It’s an opportunity for the kids to showcase their gymnastics to their family and friends.
